Description:
This course introduces Python programming tailored specifically for professionals entering AI and data science. Participants will learn the essentials of Python for data handling, analysis, and integration with AI frameworks, preparing them for advanced technical courses.

Why: The on-ramp to deeper AI/ML learning.

Tools: Google Colab, Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib.

Outcomes:

Note: Prerequisite for #D2 and #D3.

Course Outline:

• Module 1: Python Basics for AI (3 hrs)
  • Installing Anaconda and Google Colab.
  • Syntax, data types, and control flow.

• Module 2: Data Handling with Python (4 hrs)
  • Using Pandas for data frames.
  • Data cleaning and preparation.

• Module 3: Python for Machine Learning (4 hrs)
  • Scikit-learn basics.
  • Hands-on: regression and classification.

• Module 4: Python AI Workflows (4 hrs)
  • Importing datasets, training simple models.
  • Capstone: build a basic ML model in Colab.
